Fallout 76 Year 2 will bring NPCs, battle royale mode, more – EGMNOW

Bethesda has revealed the first details on Year 2 of Fallout 76, and players can expect some rather unexpected new additions coming to the game.

This fall will bring Wastelanders, the big new update leading into Fallout 76‘s next year of content. By far the biggest surprise is that NPCs will finally be making their way to the wasteland. Yes, there will now be people to talk to, interact with, and do quests for! Just like a real Fallout game!

In addition to that, Fallout 76 will be getting a new main quest, the ability to make choices (and face the consequences of them), new weapons and gear, and more.

And then, things get even crazier. Fallout 76 will be joining the hottest trend currently in gaming by getting its own battle royale mode. Called Nuclear Winter, 52 players will face off to see who can be the last surviver standing and claim their spot as Overseer. As fires burn all around and never stop closing in, other players and monsters alike will provide plenty of obstacles to overcome.

Nuclear Winter will be coming to the game much sooner, with a sneak peak kicking off on June 10th.
